Planet Lovecraft

Interested in submitting your work to Planet Lovecraft Magazine for consideration? The following outlines our basic guidelines:
  1. Do not send original artwork: We print through a digital printing company, so we only want electronic, high-resolution copies of your artwork. All files should be 300 dpi .TIF. Files should be zipped and uploaded to your site, or the site of a willing third party or one of the numerous free FTP sites available.
  2. Include contact information: Always include your full name and a clearly written introduction about yourself as well as how we can contact you (mailing address, phone, fax and email).
  3. Response Time: We try to respond to submissions on the day we receive them, but this is not always possible. Expect anywhere from one to seven days for response.
  4. Planet Lovecraft Style: Please look over the kind of work we publish so you can get a feel for the types of stories we print. No tentacle sex or bestiality!
  5. Submission Types: We’re looking for 5-10 page B&W stories that have some kind of tie, however tenuous, to H.P. Lovecraft and his Cthulhu Mythos. Covers should be full color and easily recognized as “Lovecraftian”.
  6. Size: Bleed size is 8.25” x 10.75”. Trim size is 7.75” x 10.5”.
  7. Payment: For interior stories we pay a flat $50 and five copies of the issue your story appears in. For covers we pay a flat $100 and five copies of the issue your cover appears on. Payment is through PAYPAL. Creators retain all rights to their stories and art. Thanks for wanting to share your talent with the legions of Lovecraft fans out there!
